Sept 9-13 Rehearsal Week

Thank you to those of you who attended our startup rehearsals, and to those who came by the music room to check in! This week we will return to our typical rehearsal schedule, which goes as follows:

Monday 0715-0830: Woodwinds (Flutes, Clarinets, Saxophones, etc.)

Tuesday 0715-0830: Jazz Band* (1st years & New Beginners)

Wednesday 0715-0830: Brass & Percussion

Thursday 0715-0830: Jazz Band* (1st years & New Beginners)

Friday 0715-0830: Full Concert Band

*The first few jazz rehearsals will be a primer on jazz studies for grade 10s, and students who are new to their instrument - all students are of course welcome.

Our aim will be to equip those who did not attend our preliminary rehearsal with the necessary equipment & resources, to get some charts on stands, and to blow the dust off our chops!

Please remember I have requested that devices, in accordance with the District Device Policy, remain in lockers during rehearsal time. At 0715 we are considered in our 'instructional time', and as such, any students using devices will have those devices confiscated for the day.
